  1. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan and cook onion until tender.
  2. Cut sausages into small pieces and add to pan.
  3. Cook, stirring, until all traces of pink are gone.
  4. Add the milk and simmer over very low heat until it is absorbed
  5. Add the tomatoes, maple syrup, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  6. Let simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens.
  7. Toss with the pasta and serve with parmesan cheese.
